When I moved here to Knox County, it was to manage the cable television company serving Galesburg, Knoxville, and Monmouth. Not only did my team and I make this a thriving and growing company, and employed over 20 people, but we were #1 in customer service and served our 14,000 customers with great care and concern. As a result, we were awarded "Cable TV System of the Year" by the Illinois Cable Television Association.
I eventually became a high school sociology teacher and retired after 15 years of full-time and 3 years of substitute teaching.
My wife, Jeanne, and I have raised four children here in Knox County and we are blessed to have four grandchildren. Two of our kids continue to live and work here in Galesburg. Jeanne is a registered nurse, worked for the former Medical Arts Clinic, and continues to serve the area.
I am at a point in life where I can give back to my community in an even greater way by serving the voters of District 2 on the Knox County Board.
